It’s been a rollercoaster ride.

My journey toward becoming an Integrative Nutrition Coach was a wild rollercoaster ride, shaped by my own health challenges and an intense determination to get to the root cause of each. I knew it wasn’t all in my head as some suggested. Knowing was only half the battle. Then came the mission of finding sustainable lifestyle choices to regain and maintain my optimal health.

Back when I was managing a hotel, grueling hours and demanding circumstances were the norm. I vividly recall sitting at my desk, overwhelmed with reports, feeling as if I was staring at an all-white puzzle with a million pieces. Battling extreme fatigue, brain fog, weight gain and cystic acne, I would go home to collapse on the couch for a two hour nap, then move to bed for the night. Eventually, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Frustration and confusion followed, and I began immersing myself in all the information and education I could get my hands on. Determined to find a holistic approach to healing, I immersed myself into nutrition, psychology, and fitness. My goal was to heal myself without relying solely on medication.

Life presented me with numerous challenges during times of transition and stress. I encountered a series of health issues including hives, digestive issues, anxiety, depression, dizziness, rapid heart rate, and more. Each hurdle served as a learning opportunity, leading me through a maze of diagnoses and treatments. I underwent an extensive journey, consulting countless doctors, undergoing numerous tests, experiementing with supplements, and implementing dietary and lifestyle alterations. The most memorable experience was a cleanse that lasted 40 days of eating only brown rice, sardines, and apples! While I had an arsenal of specialist, no one was looking at the whole picture.

While I sought help from specialists, I realized that no one was considering the entirety of my health picture. Nevertheless, I remained determined to take charge of my well-being. Through perseverance, resilience, and support from my husband, I learned to adapt and regain control of my health by implementing lifestyle changes and cultivating beneficial habits. As a result, I am now in a much improved state of mental and physical well-being

I’ve invested thousands of dollars and countless hours consulting doctors. Enduring a barrage of tests, fasting, and consuming tinctures that tasted more like perfume than medicine, I've been through it all. While my symptoms and diagnoses varied, the underlying cause remained consistent: I was not effectively managing stress, eventually leading to burnout. Through determination, commitment and action, I have nurtured myself back to a healthy state.

The impact of stress on health is profound, and each person's journey is unique. I'm deeply passionate about supporting others as they navigate their own paths to wellness. I firmly believe in embracing your current circumstances while striving to create lasting changes for the fulfilling life you desire.
